Cleveland, Ohio

This fall, Skoda Minotti employees donated time and efforts to two Cleveland-area nonprofit organizations that were winners of Skoda Minotti’s Community Connection initiative. This program assists numerous nonprofit organizations throughout Northeast Ohio with their financial operations and, for two chosen organizations, provides volunteer work as part of its ongoing mission to deliver on the promise to the community.

The first of two projects took place at the Beck Center for the Arts , a Lakewood organization that combines professional theater with arts education. Skoda Minotti employees provided show-night assistance at a VIP event for the organization’s donors at the opening showing of Xanadu.

The second project took place at Boys Hope Girls Hope of Northeast Ohio , a Garfield Heights organization that provides stability, support and scholarship to children from challenging circumstances. Groups of Skoda Minotti volunteers spent two Saturday mornings providing light landscaping and fun activities with the kids.

“A core value that we take very serious is our commitment to deliver on the promise to our community,” said Gregory J. Skoda, chairman of Skoda Minotti. “We are proud that the majority of our professional staff serves on a nonprofit board or volunteers for at least one organization, with many serving on several.”
