In a deal announced today, Skoda Minotti, a business advisory firm in Cleveland, Ohio has acquired majority interest in DataServ Integrations, LLC, a leading provider of unified communications solutions based in Westlake, Ohio. As part of the agreement, TLC Holding Group, Inc. (DataServ’s holding company) has acquired minority interest in Skoda Minotti Technology Partners, LLC. Skoda Minotti Technology Partners is one of multiple niche practice groups within Skoda Minotti. The merger has resulted in the formation of a new entity: DataServ, a Skoda Minotti Technology Firm. Karl Seiler, former DataServ president, is president of the new company.
The new company pools the expertise of two established technology service firms, that combined will provide a complete set of managed, shared and stand-alone services for network, wireless, telephony, video surveillance, interactive collaboration and online productivity tools, including backup and disaster recovery, cloud solutions, hardware and software sales. These services will be available to the commercial and public sector markets throughout Ohio. DataServ has been serving the education market for more than 27 years.
According to Seiler, “This merger is strategic and enables us to add Skoda Minotti Technology Partners’ data center, security and compliance expertise to our extensive managed services portfolio. By combining offerings, we’re perfectly positioned to meet the needs of the emerging technology-sharing economy.”
