State and Local Tax Update

Presentor: Mary Jo Dolson, CPA

Description: State and local tax update with primary focus on the state of Ohio.  This presentation will focus on Ohio's recently passed budget bill and the impact to taxpayers in Ohio. It will include a discussion of the various economic nexus standards that have been enacted by the different states relating to state income tax and state sales tax. Also discussed will be the status of federal legislation introduced during 2017 that could impact the states and their ability to force taxpayers to comply with their state laws. Finally, hot topics in the area of state and local taxation will be discussed.
